“Samsara” is a collaboration between Anyma (Matteo Milleri) and Sevdaliza that appears on Anyma’s 2023 album Genesys.

Musically, it blends Anyma’s signature melodic techno production — rich with atmosphere, synth textures, and rhythmic drive — with Sevdaliza’s haunting, emotive vocals. The lyrics explore themes of transcendence, mortality, and identity: longing to leave behind worldly bounds, questioning what it means to feel real or to belong.

Anyma is the solo project of Matteo Milleri, an Italian-American electronic music producer best known as one half of the duo Tale of Us and co-founder of the Afterlife label. With Anyma, Milleri explores the intersection of technology, consciousness, and emotion through immersive audiovisual experiences that blend melodic techno, ambient soundscapes, and digital art. His debut EP Claire in 2021 marked the beginning of a distinct artistic journey, followed by the Genesys album trilogy (Genesys, Genesys II, and The End of Genesys) released between 2023 and 2025. These projects revolve around futuristic narratives, particularly the evolution of a sentient android named Eva, and feature collaborations with artists like Ellie Goulding, Grimes, and Sevdaliza. Anyma’s live shows are known for pushing boundaries, most notably with his groundbreaking residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, where he integrated real-time visuals and immersive storytelling. With a focus on human-machine synergy and digital identity, Anyma has positioned himself at the cutting edge of electronic music, redefining how sound, visuals, and narrative can come together in performance.
